Wedding Updates

Our wedding is on 11 October 2014.

8 more months!!!

It doesn't seem like we have much time left. Its coming too fast!

And where have we progressed? So far, we have only booked the venue. Oh no! So that's like, 5% done? or 1%? :(

Since the beginning of the year, we have been going around bridal houses, and went to the KL Wedding Expo.

We went to 8 bridal houses, including Marry Merry where i wanted to see if there are any suitable dinner dresses i could wear for the reception.

After looking through what they have, i didn't find one that didn't have to wear a bolero with and that is suitable for church.

So we checked out 4 other custom make gown shops. Went to That Special Occasion, White & Lacy, That White Dress and Pretty In White. Some of the gowns were really gorgeous, but not a 'YES'. I really hope i can say 'YES' to the dress when i find it.  hehe.

Today, i'll be visiting My Bridal Gown in Hartamas, as introduced by Joyce as her niece did hers there.

Hopefully, don't have to visit any other gown making shops and pick one out of these.

Karaoke and Meatballs

'Let's go Karaoke on Friday', he said.

Amused.

'How about Tuesday? Since i'm on leave'. I answered, still surprised, and amused.

'Hmm. Tuesday can.'

This little conversation came up abruptly last Sunday.

At least it gave me something to look forward to.

Throughout the 5 years, we have only gone for Karaoke three times, and only twice just the both of us.

So it was indeed a nice surprise to hear that he wanted to go Karaoke with me.

I hurried to finish up some work and then got ready for Karaoke. I couldn't miss it because of work.

After Karaoke, i suggested to go for dinner around the Curve where we were at.

'What do you feel like eating?', he asked.

'I don't know, let's go Ikea for dinner.' I answered.

'That's like not even 1 second before you answered that. Said you didn't know what to eat.'

*Smiled sheepishly*

Sometimes, craving comes in an appropriate time!

Actually, i just really like the environment in Ikea and have always wanted to have dinner there one day whenever when we were around Ikea but never had the chance, either that place is always too packed which puts us off, or that the craving for it never came at the right time.

Had the pasta with the famous Swedish meatballs. Nice and simple.

Suddenly had a flash of memory of the night when Brownie and i went to Ikea and ate the ice cream, and he said he like Ikea and the environment very much.
